5. WarsowTV
5.1 WarsowTV still is in it's early stages as cup hosters and broadcasters often critized in 0.4x versions. What has improved til then and what can happen to make WarsowTV not only easy to use for players but for people with webpages to provide easy access?
Vic: Well, first of all, WarsowTV servers now use the same heatbeat mechanism as normal game servers, meaning they can be browsed in-game or on some web page. And we also added the possibility to instantly join a WarsowTV channel upon clicking a warsow:// type URL on a webpage.
5.2 Are you confident with GamesTV.org supporting WarsowTV and cup matches? What would you like to see from websites like that in the future?
Vic: Hosting and managing TV servers is really important both for the community and publicity so what GamesTV.org and the likes do can not be underestimated. What I would like to see personally from them is closer cooperation with the devs: we have plenty of feedback from players but much less so from admins and organizations who run Warsow-related services. That'd allow Warsow to become an even better platform for gaming.
5.3 Will there be an own WarsowTV overview on the warsow.net page some day where people can connect directly to running games?
Vic: I'm not entirely a page likes this belongs to warsow.net. Anyway, this'd require some kind of a centralized TV program, which is not in the works and not going to be in the foreseeable future.
thelawenforcer: Indeed, some sort of system like this would be quite cool, and i wouldnt rule it out, but we'll have to see.

Well, maps would last longer if e.g. jumpheight and other tricks wouldn't be changed with each version

"Vic: To be honest, I've never quite understood why if you're a CA player, you can't play duel or if you're a dueler, you can't play CTF and so on."
Well, it never was a problem in 0.3, but it started to become a problem with the introduction of newmovement.
If you want to compete in duel, you are forced to use the new one, if you want casual fun in CA, you need to use the old one. Switching really sux and it's that has driven me away from wsw.

Okay, maybe that was badly put. One can probably compete just as good, but alone having the choice always leaves doubt, as to whether one is missing out on opportunities to turn some corner faster, etc. I hate being forced to chose over fundamental game mechanics.
Having two sets of movements to chose from is still bad design, whether it'S 0.4 or 0.5 :/
But I don't want to start a discussion here, I won't like 0.5 anyways, so it's pointless.
GL for the future, warsow, I'm out.
