7. The Dev Team
7.1 In the past Warsow dev team was under a lot of changes. Lead developer nip quitted Warsow, ETR and komodochas went for tripping, Willl is non-active. Who is actively developing Warsow?
jal: There are different levels of activity, and people come and go. If you mean working on the game right now: Vic, crizis and myself. There are other people who are active too, as SolomonK, Law or hangy, but their job is not developing the game itself.

Anyway, it's mostly jal and me with occasional contributions from Nanabaky, Cervix, bLx, Jyaan, crizis, Akimine, 36 and also hangy and thelawenforcer.
SolomonK: I wanted to use the opportunity of this interview to, one more time, express my full support to the team for his amazing, incredible work accomplished during all those years and specially the last months.
Few months ago, it was quite hard times, both internally and community side. Situation was very disheartening/depressing/frustrating, etc.
And they managed to hang on and overpass it without major clashes. Warsow already vampirized so much of energy from its contributors , and still, you reached to hang on, and to bring the game to a major new level. My very special thanks go to Jal and Vic for their outstanding talent and tenacity, to Law for his input and help communication wise, to Crizis for his freshness and amazing all round work, to Hangy for his constant help, to blx and Nanabaky for their great artistic skills and long time input, and to all those who (internally and community side) kept on believe in Warsow and contributed to make Warsow keep on alive.
7.2 And with rumours of developers ‘leaving’ the team can this be confirmed or denied?
jal: I can only speak for myself. And yes, I'll go inactive once 0.5 is released and working.
Vic: Confirmed :p
7.3 Who will be active in 0.5? Any new faces?
jal: I don't know, but I guess there will be new faces. That's up to SolomonK.
Vic: Only time will tell.
thelawenforcer: I certainly will be, and a bunch of others im sure. Crizis wants to make 'a big contribution' of his own so although jal and vic will be taking a backseat from now on, there will be others to take on other tasks. Besides, jal and vic have laid the foundation in terms of raw code, and now its up to others to build on those.
8. Misc
8.1 With parry working on a very professional and well produced hud are the rumours of it being included into 0.5 true?
SolomonK: I enjoy it a lot, and I see in Parry's HUD a really cool tribute both to devers and community. Sure it deserves a good highlight. Sure community and devers deserves such kind of funny tribute. But I would say that atm, quality of pictures isn't clean enough to turn into a real "official" HUD. I suggest to vectorize pics and tweak them in order to give a good overall look at it, or to work from better pictures. Was my two cents.

Well, maps would last longer if e.g. jumpheight and other tricks wouldn't be changed with each version

Well, it never was a problem in 0.3, but it started to become a problem with the introduction of newmovement.
If you want to compete in duel, you are forced to use the new one, if you want casual fun in CA, you need to use the old one. Switching really sux and it's that has driven me away from wsw.

Okay, maybe that was badly put. One can probably compete just as good, but alone having the choice always leaves doubt, as to whether one is missing out on opportunities to turn some corner faster, etc. I hate being forced to chose over fundamental game mechanics.
Having two sets of movements to chose from is still bad design, whether it'S 0.4 or 0.5 :/
But I don't want to start a discussion here, I won't like 0.5 anyways, so it's pointless.
